'Eddie Rayner was a relative latecomer to music. He joined his first band at age 19, and having had little formal musical training, found the creatively-free aspect of original music composition, performance and production to his liking. Which placed him in good stead amongst similar musically-unfettered groups such as 'Split Enz', 'Space Waltz' and 'Crowded House'. |

![]() The Enz left NZ in 1975 for Australia, and they went on to record 10 studio albums, when Eddie's talents in arrangement and production came to the fore. He has since produced and remixed several albums for the Enz, including the acclaimed 'Rootin Tootin Luton Tapes', 'Frenzy', 'Conflicting Emotions', 'Corroboree', 'Extravangenza' and the live DVD 'One Out of the Bag'. |
